mkii-graph-eq Overview:

A 10 Band EQ which combines an easy to use graphical display with innovative high quality DSP technology to provide a flexible plugin ideal for mastering, but equally useful as a channel plugin. Individual bands can be switched off to reduce CPU load and a range of filter types are available including a de-cramped bandpass which provides a more analogue characteristic without requiring CPU intensive upsampling.

The download contains mono and stereo versions in JACK, LV2 (32 and 64Bit) and 32Bit linuxVST format.

System Requirements:
  • A PC running the linux operating system.
  • An LV2 or linuxVST compatible host application.

Features:
Smoothly Interpolated Filters   No 'zipper' noise
Realtime EQ Graph   See the frequency response as you adjust it. New UI now includes displays of individual bands in addition to the combined response for easy adjustment.
Variable Filter Types   Low-pass, Band-pass (Two types), High-pass, HF Shelf, LF Shelf, Variable Bandwidth / Q
De-cramped Bandpass Filter   Innovative DSP algorithm provides a more natural response than traditional digital filters.
Selectable Bands   Switch out unused filter bands to reduce CPU load.

A very flexible EQ for situations that demand precise frequency control. Can be used together with the MBC2B multi-band compressor to form a versatile mastering solution. The MKII Graph-EQ now incorporates two bandpass filter types, providing a choice of either a traditional digital filter response or a de-cramped response which more closely models an analogue filter e.g.

The Graph-EQ bandpass filter showing how a normal digital filter response becomes distorted at frequencies approaching the limit set by the sample rate, as the gain is defined to be 0dB at the limit.
