mbc2 Overview:

An evolution of the popular MBC2 Multi-band Stereo Compressor, the MBC2B features increased threshold range, channel solo switches and reduced CPU usage.
Designed to be used primarily as a master buss compressor, however the addition of channel solo switches also allow it to be used for filtering and more deliberate special effects.
The MBC2B can also be used in combination with the MKII-Graph-EQ to provide a complete mastering solution.

The download contains mono and stereo versions in JACK, LV2 (32 and 64Bit) and 32Bit linuxVST format.

System Requirements:
  • A PC running the linux operating system.
  • An LV2 or linuxVST compatible host application.

• Twin 24dB/Oct Linkwitz-Riley Crossover   Flat Frequency response when set to 0dB
• Adjustable crossover frequencies   2 Octave adjustable range
• Independent compressor channels   Adjust each compressor section independently
• Channel Solo   Solo Individual channels for alignment or as a deliberate effect, for example "Telephone Voice" effects.
• Reduced CPU usage   Innovative DSP sidechain algorithm reduces CPU usage compared to the MBC2.
• Increased Threshold Range   Adjustable from 0dB to -30dB, an extra 10dB of range compared to the MBC2.

 

Installation: The download includes self-contained installer executables for VST, LV2 and JACK. Refer to section 2 of the manual for detailed information about installation.
