linuxdsp.co.uk - JACK plugins

Requirements: A PC running linux with at least a 2.6 kernel (most recent distributions). The JACK audio server and GTK. If you are already running the excellent Ardour Digital Audio Workstation then you probably have all you need to run these plugins.

These are the linuxDSP JACK plugins. These are standalone linux applications that process audio by connecting to the JACK audio server. Other formats such as LV2 are also available which allow the plugins to run inside a host application such as Ardour 2.8.3 or later.

CH-EQ1 Mono Parametric Channel Equaliser - provides variable shelving and parametric EQ, designed to be used as a mono channel insert

CH-EQ2 Stereo Parametric Channel Equaliser - provides variable shelving and parametric EQ, a stereo version of the CH-EQ1

GR-EQ2 Stereo 15 Band graphic equaliser with up to 15dB boost and cut on each band and adjustable input and output trims.

VC2 Valve Compressor - stereo vintage compressor with a 'soft knee' threshold and warm valve overdrive.

SR-2A Stereo Reverb - An algorithmic reverb designed for low CPU usage but still providing a convincing reverb for adding extra ambience to a mix.

ODV2 Stereo valve overdrive pre-amplifier - based on the technology used in the vintage valve compressor, this adds a bit of valve warmth to otherwise clinical digital recordings.

JP1 Patchbay A graphical patchbay that allows you to route audio via the JACK audio server, also provides for saving frequently used routing setups and automatic loading of default configurations. Patches will auto-complete as the required JACK applications are started.
