linux DSP

linuxDSP provides 'plugin' audio processing software for linux. Most plugins are free to download, pre-compiled binaries are available for most x86 architectures including x86-64.

Requirements: A PC running linux with at least a 2.6 kernel (most recent distributions). The JACK audio server and GTK. If you are already running the excellent Ardour Digital Audio Workstation then you probably have all you need to run these plugins.

The MX-EQ1 provides parametric EQ for DAW Mixer Channels

The MX-DYN1 provides dynamics processing e.g. compression, with a vintage tape saturation characteristic when overdriven.
